This year’s Mother’s Day was celebrated on Sunday, May 11, 2014. Pastor Charles and the leaders of the church handed all the women and young girls red roses for this special day. Also, the JG made a rendition of Kayne West’s “Hey Mama” for all of the mothers in the church! Video coming soon to our blog and Youtube channel!

COMPASS also initiated Pink and Denim Day which is help on the Sunday after Mother’s Day. All members of the congregation wear the color pink and denim in support of our mother’s and to raise awareness for women’s issues in the community. The next Pink and Denim Day falls on Sunday, May 10, 2015.
